ABOUT JENNY WILKINSON
Specialising in Conservation Architecture, I joined Buttress as a Senior Architect within their Arts, Heritage and Culture team in 2023. Based across Buttress\' Manchester and Leeds studio, I am currently involved in a number of cultural projects across the North West. Prior to Buttress, I spent 9 years at Purcell, working predominantly in the UK out of their York and Manchester studios, but also in Australia on a secondment in 2022. My experience spans the RIBA Workstages, and I have had the privilege of being involved in a mixture of large-scale cultural projects such as Manchester Museum, Manchester Town Hall and Big Ben, as well as the conservation and protection of smaller lesser known heritage assets. I am particularly interested in breathing new life into old buildings through adaptive reuse or sensitive intervention, and enjoy the challenge of making our historic environment fit for modern use.I am a member of Women in Property and attend their events in the North West and Leeds/Yorkshire when I can.
