Seasonally coaching middle school/high school Learn to Row camps (summer), and High School Team (ages 13-17) Novice team members (spring/fall), I instruct beginner rowers in both learn-to-row camp sessions, as well as competitive team settings. This includes ensuring both physical and emotional safety of teenage athletes, safe use of equipment, and a fun inviting atmosphere. I create practice/lesson plans for new rowers to ensure incremental and constructive learning and athlete growth. In addition to daily interactions with the youth athletes, I coordinate daily with our Rowing Director and fellow coaches, and interface frequently with athlete\'s parents/guardians.
