As Director of JaxCareConnect, I spearheaded the transformation of the initiative from a three-year pilot into the fully established and sustainable program it is today. In this role, I oversee program expansion by growing the team, strengthening operational infrastructure, and cultivating strategic partnerships—all with the goal of increasing healthcare access for uninsured individuals in Duval County.I am responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure funding, drive program sustainability, and improve service delivery. I guide the team in streamlining patient navigation, addressing social determinants of health, and removing barriers to care. Through collaboration with healthcare providers, community organizations, and policymakers, I work to expand JaxCareConnect’s reach, enhance its efficiency, and advocate for equitable healthcare solutions. Additionally, I continue to refine and scale outreach, community education, and engagement efforts to empower individuals with knowledge about their healthcare options.
