The Denver Public Schools (DPS) Foundation was founded in 1992 to support DPS in becoming the best urban school district in America. For the last twenty-two years, we have served as a valued partner to DPS, generating financial and philosophical support to advance DPS’ mission of seeing every student graduate from high school. The DPS Foundation believes that when the entire community stands shoulder to shoulder with our educators, we can and will give every DPS student the education they deserve. The outcome of our collective commitment will be a generation of students prepared to lead our city into the future. The DPS Foundation engages the entire community in support of our schools and our children- We raise money. In 2014-15, we directed over $14 million to DPS- We champion public education, serving as ambassadors and advocates for DPS- We build partnerships between the community and our schools, driving talent, resources and volunteers into our classrooms.
