ABOUT JENNY MACKAY
I am a Principal Lecturer in Forensic Psychology at NTU, and a Chartered Psychologist. I research women\'s perpetration of intimate partner violence. I am particularly interested in pathways to perpetration (for both women and men) and what works for those who perpetrate violence. I am also a Trustee for Leicestershire YMCA. I have 15+ years experience in practice, and have worked in: prisons, probation service, NHS, secure children\'s home, policy and project development in lifelong learning/adult education, and with new parents. I have worked with a range of vulnerable clients in both forensic and non-forensic settings, including looked after children/young people, people who misuse substances, adults with learning disabilities (and behaviours that challenge), people who offend prolifically, people in prison and on probation, and \'NEETs\'. Interested in all things related to attachment theory, trauma, rehabilitation/offending behaviour interventions, Positive Behaviour Support, prisons, and infant development.
