A little about myself:Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm and provides great exposure to investment accounting, financial reporting duties, and trade management. For every trade executed, Operations develops and manages the processes and controls that enables business flow. It is with great privilege that I have honed in on nearly 4 years of Investment Operations Associate roles with over half of that time as a Senior Investment Operations Associate at Prudential. My collective experiences in financial services includes Derivatives- FX, Swaps, Options, Futures, Securities Lending- Cash and Non Cash Collateral, and Mezzanine Lending. More recently, I was able to transition my fixed income background into Private Equity and Hedge Fund administration. With cumulative accounting experience, I was able to trailblaze my career into a hybrid role that encompasses accounting principles with an addition of finance responsibilities such as budgeting, forecasting, and being the finance lead for two big compute services in Tech!Over the course of over 8+ years of cumulative finance and accounting experience, I have learned a great deal on financial reporting, liaison with senior management, forecasting, and firm accounting procedures.
