The Global Substance Abuse Program Manager provides strategic oversight for the US Substance Abuse Program ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations as well as assisting in the administration of all Company international Substance Abuse Programs. This position administers the US Substance Abuse Policy through interpretation of the Company policy, interfaces with the third party administrators (TPA), develops testing procedures/strategies and provides consultation to all US business units (BU’s). This position serves as the Company Designated Employer Representative responsible for ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol testing regulations and is responsible for the direct supervision of the Substance Abuse Coordinator and Substance Abuse Program Associate. Additionally, the position provides direct support to all US based employees, managers, supervisors and HRBP’s and provides functional guidance to Company international business units, HR Connections, internal and external Collectors concerning Substance Abuse.
