My role involves working for NHS England Education to help postgraduate doctors and dentists in training with educational support throughout their training until their CCT. We also help to train existing clinical faculty to support residents in a clinical setting. My role incorporates lots of different tasks from being an educational facilitator, trained coach, Deputy Head of the Professional Support and Wellbeing Unit and some Deputy Business Manager tasks. Some areas of work I am currently involved with are- Professional Support & Wellbeing Unit- Designing content for and delivering educational workshops- Coaching residents in difficulty and supervising newly trained and qualified coaches - Offering a range of extended qualification opportunities utilising the apprenticeship levy - Managing a Coaching Network- Commissioning Educational training programmes
