Mercure Projects Jenny worked on a number of Mercure Hotel projects - simultaneously leading the design team to deliver both Public Area and Bedroom concepts for Mercure Liverpool Walton Hall & Haydock. Each project had its own unique look and feel, tying in and complimenting the existing buildings. Novotel Brentford, London - This was the first Novotel hotel to embrace the open lobby concept. Featuring a large open plan arrangement, the design flows as one space and consists of zones for drinking, dining, relaxing and working. It has a contemporary feel and clean lines softened with the use of pattern and tactile materials. All of which were selected to create a ‘Rural in the City’ feel, linking it to the tree of life concept. Ibis Styles Greenwich is the latest in the Accor portfolio – our brief to design and create a unique bespoke interior scheme. Inspired by our exploration into the theory of time, from phases of the moon, lunar calendar, horology and the more conceptual time travel and the future. Our aim was to create a space which pushes the boundaries on conventional hotel public areas. Malmaison The extension contained 60 new guestrooms including five suites. Decorating the bedrooms in their trademark colour taupe with bright colour highlights on individual walls, fabrics and loose furnishings. The bathrooms are larger than comparable city centre hotels with a unique design. The Midland Manchester – Full refurbishment One of the most prestigious buildings in Manchester underwent a lavish refurbishment. Working as the principal implementation Interior Designer I effectively liaised closely with the client Q Hotels, design team and English heritage to ensure we achieved the ultimate classical chic design.
