I oversee Workers’ Compensation & Chair the Pension Trustees. I supervise the development of safety procedures for City employees. I manage ADA/FMLA activities & compliance, develop & modify personnel policies & procedures, oversee & conduct grievance & disciplinary action appeals, complaint investigation, & coordinate training activities. I restarted the Health & Wellness Program. While with CHI, I led initiative to reenergize Safety Program & introduced Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process. Continuously strategized with leaders to design & retool comprehensive policies and procedures to meet needs of the healthcare facility. Built relationships and lines of communication with physicians to improve initiative buy-in. Resolved grievances with patients & visitors while protecting the hospital’s interest. Supervised all Risk Management activities for organization in the state.Previously strategized with C-level executives to design comprehensive executive risk insurance programs to meet needs of their private and public businesses and their boards across a wide spectrum of industries.
