About Jenny Bernard
I’m a problem-solver dedicated to efficiency, using data to drive decisions and striving to add value to the bottom line. I’m also an ASQ-certified Lean Six Sigma black belt and PMP.As chief of staff of HP’s largest sales market, I’m rarely without a challenge. I drive many programs in NA for HP, including robotic process automations in sales operations, career development and digital training opportunities, while ensuring costs are under control and employee engagement exceeds 88%.Prior to HP, I spent 10 years as a technical engineer in various electrical manufacturing sites managing projects and driving innovation. During the 2014 economic downturn, I worked full time on business development. I can work individually, but I enjoy collaborating with peers and brainstorming out loud.I’m proud of a vast array of achievements, including:• Delivering year over year cost reductions up to 30%,>$5M, without disruption to operations, and retaining talent in company by redeploying to business critical objectives.• Leading the PMO and $6M budget for launching new HP shopping e-stores across the globe onto Magento platform.• Formulating and leading a 2-year business development strategy to offset decreased sales in the US due to poor market conditions in the mining and oil & gas industries. In my role as technical manager for a new renewable energy product line, I delivered $8M of new sales for wind energy. Prior to that, I achieved $6M in increased revenue overall in new markets like solar.• I have an ability to simplify complex topics, and I designed and led a Lean Six Sigma training program where my candidates earned $240k savings in Year 1 and $260k savings in Year 2. I built on my experience giving trainings by leading a transformation program which included facilitating Project Management training to director-level leaders across North and South America.• I am organized, methodical, analytical, and able to think “big picture” – removing waste from inefficient processes and driving clear improvements. One of my earliest successes was in designing a 90% paperless facility, utilizing barcode and RFID tech, & developing manufacturing operations & processes that enabled growth for 20 new hires.I welcome any opportunity to learn a new skill set!
