About Jenny Anderson

As a kid, I wanted to be an inventor when I grew up. I loved the idea of making \"something out of nothing\". For birthdays, I would ask my parents for an assortment of supplies I could use to build whatever my imagination could conjure up, even if the idea seemed a bit far-fetched. Drawing up my ideas, designing, and building them to completion proved to have their challenges, but it was process I found joy in and, ultimately, pride in. As I got older, that same passion and desire stuck with me, and I became more intrigued with the technical aspect that tends to follow this process. This is what led me to build my career around engineering, or \"inventing\" as I still like to think of it as. Currently, I\'m a Project Engineer for XTO Energy, a subsidiary of ExxonMobil, working out of Midland, TX. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and just received my MBA from Texas Tech in May of 2019. I have a passion for true innovation and creation and enjoy complex problem solving. Through these opportunities and experiences, I’ve gotten to build up a variety of skills and attributes. I strive to work in environments that will challenge me, further develop my skills, and ultimately allow me to pursue this passion I\'ve carried with me throughout my life.
