About Jennings Pitts
In October of 2004 I joined Bennett Thrasher, an accounting firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. As a partner on the Corporate Tax Team, I work with a wide variety of clients on their federal as well as state and local tax issues. I began my career with KPMG in their Federal Tax Group and held a tax position with a multi-national corporation based in Atlanta. After 3.5 years with KPMG I took a more industry-focused position with Printpack Inc, a manufacturer and distributor of specialty packaging.Throughout my career I have worked with C-Corporations, S-Corporations and Partnerships, as well as with individuals, and have had a wide range of industry experience. The industries with which I have the most experience, however, are Manufacturing and Distribution, Technology and Service. I also have experience with nonprofits, mergers and acquisitions, international tax, and multi-state tax issues.One of the benefits of working at Bennett Thrasher has been the opportunity to serve the community in which I grew up.
