Responsible for overall leadership, management and day-to-day operations of Youth Conservation Corps (YCC). Reporting directly to the Board of Directors and working to define the vision, mission, values and strategic direction of Youth Conservation Corps. Developing and enhancing YCC’s programs and services to guide and mentor young adults using education, job skills training and community service to help develop productive citizens. Monitoring, managing, and guarding the organization’s fiscal health by preparing annual budgets, identifying and accessing appropriate sources of funding, reporting to the Board on a frequent basis, and adjusting expenditures to live within existing and anticipated revenues. Establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with private and public organizations to enhance YCC’s programs and services. Maintaining compliance with all federal, state and local reporting requirements and GATA standards.
