About Jennifer White
I am partner in Reed Smith\'s state and local tax group, with a focus on New York State, New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut tax law. I represent companies in audits and appeals, and assist with planning and structuring to reduce tax liabilities and audit exposure. My practice also includes refund reviews, with the goal of obtaining meaningful savings to clients. I am also an expert on personal income tax residency and allocation issues. My clients include Fortune companies and high net worth individuals. I excel at, and thoroughly enjoy, providing effective and practical counsel that meet the unique goals of each client. Through my years of work in private practice and time spent with the New York City Department of Finance, I have learned the most effective strategies to both settle and litigate cases, and most importantly, when to pursue each avenue of resolution.
