About Jennifer Hancock

I’ve spent my career exploring how people think, learn, and respond to challenges. I was raised as a Humanist, but my journey into behavioral psychology began in college while training dolphins in Hawaii. I learned firsthand how behavior is shaped through reinforcement and response. It’s easy to see how my humanism combined with behavioral psychology has fed a lifelong passion for understanding how to master our minds so we can navigate life with clarity and purpose. As an author, speaker, and behavioral science expert, I teach people how to manage change, deal with difficult people, and lead with integrity, specializing in eliminating bullying and harassment and humanistic leadership.What makes me unique is that I teach humanistic approaches grounded in dignity and compassion coupled with science based behavioral modification techniques that benefit you as an individual and the organization in which you work. I have a BA in Liberal Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa (1990). My field of study combined cognitive linguistics, anthropology and psychology. While in college, I apprenticed as a dolphin trainer for a dolphin language/cognition laboratory which is where I learned the behavioral science and behavior modification techniques I now teach.Ms. Hancock has worked in executive leadership roles her entire career (since graduating college in 1990). In the course of her career she has provided training to companies all over the world. She has over 30 years of experience working in executive leadership and in providing leadership and management training to others. If you let her, she can teach you how to be a more authentic and effective leader who is both powerfully ethical and armed with the technical skills required to master whatever challenges you face with grace and dignity. My goal in life - is to change harassment training so that we teach people what they actually need to learn to make bullying and harassment stop. Bullying is a learned behavior it can be unlearned, but only if we use established and validated behavioral science techniques.
