ABOUT JENNIFER SAVIÑON

I bring over 10 years of international finance experience in capital markets and portfolio management with Plus Capital Market, Grupo Mercado Electronico and Banco Multiple Leon, based in the Dominican Republic. As the Chief Executive Officer of Plus Capital Market, I established the brokerage firm’s Dominican Republic office and led strategy, with a focus on buying and selling fixed-income products. I also managed the prop trading desk and built strategic relationships with global top-tier counterparties. Previously, I was Managing Director in the financial group of Grupo Mercado Electronico, a holding company for Alpha Valores and Altio Capital (USD$250MM AUM) that invests in private and public debt markets in frontier and emerging economies (Latin America and Dominican Republic). In the role, I worked directly with the CEO and CIO to develop and execute investment strategies. Earlier in my career, I managed a DOP$12.5B portfolio at Banco Multiple Leon and structured and placed corporate bonds for institutional clients at Valores Leon. Currently, I am the CFO at Ibex, an infrastructure payments company that allows you to process instant BTC transactions via the LN. After tracking Bitcoin since 2014, I understood that LN opened up the possibility for BTC to evolve into the most efficient and open payments system in the world.
