As Owner of Stay at Home Vehicle Modifications, I oversee the full scope of our vehicle adaptation operations across Ohio. We specialize in custom wheelchair-accessible vehicle conversions, working directly with manufacturers to deliver affordable, high-quality mobility solutions. Our clients include Medicaid Waiver consumers, Department of Developmental Disabilities participants, commercial fleets, public service agencies, and families—all of whom benefit from tailored support and expert guidance.I manage every step of the process: from the initial consultation and chassis selection to modification coordination, funding assistance, and delivery. Because we work directly with conversion manufacturers, we’re able to offer significant cost savings and more choices in customization. We also assist clients with Medicaid Waiver programs—such as Ohio Home Care, Level I, Individual Options (I/O), SELF, and managed care plans—while helping others identify funding through the Department of Veterans Affairs or rehabilitation agencies. Once modifications are complete, we deliver the vehicle to the client’s home or location, walk them through the operation, and handle all paperwork on-site for convenience.
