   Chief Spokesperson for Clark County• Redefining the story of Clark County both internally and externally to foster a new perspective for the role the organization plays in serving 2.3 million residents and employees. • Leading the rebranding effort for Clark County to better align with the County’s transformation to serve the public, stakeholders, and employees.• Directing a team of communications professionals including public communications, internal communications, marketing, social media, digital development and content creation, and a television production studio and crew. • Reigniting efforts to overhaul employee engagement to enhance retention and drive recruitment through innovative practices and leveraging of new communications tools.o Ushering in the culture change needed to address employee morale while establishing the culture of the organization. • Developing the collateral to tell the County’s story and to provide resources to the public on service needs specific to departments such as social and family services, building and code, and other important constituent services. • Overseeing the reputation of the County by strategically steering Clark County through crises and managing issues as they arise, both in a leadership perspective as well as in a spokesperson capacity. • Developing the communications plans to roll out new initiatives or to champion the work of department-led projects. o Branded and launched “Welcome Home,” Clark County’s historic $120 million investment in affordable housing for the community. • Innovatively positioning the County to meet demand both in digital services as well as a large employer. o Leaning into the role social media can play to advocate a message or provide voices of trusted community surrogates to champion county initiatives. • Responsible for the budget management of the County’s Office of Communications & Strategy.
