Over 20 years of audit experience with a focus on the public sector. This includes external and internal audit for institutions of higher education, professional membership associations, private foundations, and social service organizations. I lead Crowe\'s national private foundation audit practice, and our West region not-for-profit practice. In addition, I have expertise with transit operations and private-public partnerships (P3). Through deep specialization in the not-for-profit sector, I regularly participate in local and national CPA society events and committees. I am a frequent public speaker on issues impacting not-for-profit and government organizations such as complex accounting matters, the Uniform Guidance, alternative investments and financial reporting best practices. In my free time I volunteer my time and expertise on not-for-profit boards. I love travel, cooking, yoga, and gardening.
