ABOUT JENNIFER DICKENS

Unmanaged stress is the greatest THREAT to high performance companies! Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious and stressed by the challenges of these uncertain times? Are you finding it more difficult to focus, stay engaged and effectively communicate with your remote team? Are you a leader needing to significantly improve workplace morale and productivity? I work with individuals and leaders to teach you to self-regulate your emotions and stress so you can be coherent through all of life\'s experiences. Whether it’s handling the adversity of covid, managing family at home, stress from job loss, financial strain because of business revenue loss, fatigue from overwork in healthcare, loss of family due to the pandemic; I leverage neuroscience and evidence-based scientifically developed practices to support you and your team in successfully living coherently and performing resiliently. According to the National Institute of Health (NIH) study and report in December 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to unprecedented hazards to mental health globally. While psychological support is being provided to patients and healthcare workers, the general public\'s mental health requires significant attention as well. Findings and Results: Relatively high rates of symptoms increase: Anxiety (6.33% to 50.9%) Depression (14.6% to 48.3%) Post-traumatic stress disorder (7% to 53.8%) Psychological distress (34.43% to 38%) Stress (8.1% to 81.9%) are reported in the general population during the COVID-19 pandemic in the US and global countries. Reference: You can not rely on a healthcare system that is already overburdened with the pandemic health crisis, companies need to step up and offer emotional and self-regulation solutions to support organizational coherence and resilience. I’m an avid downhill skier, and have spent most of my Covid outdoor time in bike rides and walks on the beach, and hikes in our local Santa Monica mountains.
