Previously I was a Senior Editor at HarperCollins Publishers (acquiring for William Morrow and Harper Perennial) where I spent twelve years before moving west to Los Angeles where I continued working with authors, literary agents, and publishers as an independent book editor with an emphasis on creative development. Some of the books that I acquired and published at HarperCollins include: Daniel James Brown\'s The Indifferent Stars Above; Marjorie Hart\'s Summer at Tiffany; Willy Vlautin\'s Lean on Pete (adapted to feature film and distributed by a24), and Michael Zadoorian\'s The Leisure Seeker (adapted to feature film & distributed by Sony Classics Pictures). Other freelance titles include Katie Delahanty\'s Waiting for a Girl Like You; Sarah C. John\'s The Sirens of Soleil City; Omolola Ijeoma Ogunyemi\'s Jollof Rice and Other Revolutions which was chosen by Roxane Gay as her October 2022 selection of The Audacious Book Club; Janie Chang\'s novels: The Library of Legends; Dragon Springs Road; and Three Souls; and Stephanie Clifford\'s New York Times bestselling debut novel, Everybody Rise. Previous publisher clients include Kobe Bryant\'s forever missed Granity Studios, Blackstone Publishing, and Open Road Integrated Media. I have been in love with books, reading, and imagined realms for my entire life and I am tremendously grateful to have worked with writers from New York City, to Los Angeles, to the galaxy far, far away.
