Over 20 years of research experience in many different capacities.In my current role, I serve as a Director of Scientific Services within the Patient Centered Solutions (PCS) team at IQVIA. This includes leading the Patient Experience Mixed Methods Research team providing leadership and guidance in the conceptualization and operationalization of studies (implementation science and surveys) both within the clinical trial environment as well as in real-world practice. Responsibilities include leading a team of researchers, thought-leadership and providing scientific oversight and guidance in the conception, design, execution, analysis, and reporting of qualitative and mixed-method studies. In my previous role, I serve as an Associate Director of Scientific Services within the PPCS team at IQVIA. This role involved providing methodological and strategic guidance to clients, training and supervising junior staff, development of scientific deliverables, engagement in thought leadership activities, and supporting growth of new and existing services and products.Previously, I served as an Implementation Science Research Scientist in the Patient-Centered Research team within Evidera by PPD. Responsibilities included leading studies, proposal writing, development of measurement strategies, conducting literature reviews, collecting and analyzing outcomes data, implementation of COA studies, analyzing COA data and developing research products and reports, and supporting FDA interactions. I also chaired an IS Workgroup with efforts to promote Implementation Science (IS) and increase IS knowledge and interest among research colleagues and clients.My work as Associate Director, Clinical Outcomes Assessments involved serving as study lead on projects including overseeing and contributing to a broad-range of scientific tasks and products, agenda-setting and client communication, and timeline and budget management. Responsibilities included oversight of study design, data collection, data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement including FDA interactions.My previous work as an Implementation Scientist/Social Science Analyst at the Department of Veterans Affairs included the use of qualitative methods to gather information from providers, patients, administrators and other key-stakeholder to determine need for/develop theory-based interventions, to measure the process and outcomes of implementation, as well as to evaluate the extent to which an intervention was successfully implemented and/or sustained.
