About Jennifer Marin
Hola! My name is Jennifer Marin. I love to tell stories that connect people from all walks of life. I’ve been fortunate to do this throughout my eight years in the news industry. I’ve worked as a reporter, anchor, assignment editor, producer, video editor, radio host, and more. In other words, I’ve worn many hats in the newsroom and oftentimes multiple at once. I’m bilingual, Spanish is actually my first language. I grew up in a primarily Hispanic community and from a young age developed a passion for giving a voice to those that didn’t have one, a reality I often witnessed. One of the highlights of my career was founding the first Spanish language television station on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Telemundo Delmarva was an opportunity to tell stories about a community, that until then, had felt unseen. I led and developed a website, mobile app and social media channels. For months I was the sole anchor/reporter and produced daily news and radio cut-ins, while balancing my morning anchor duties on our flagship station WBOC-TV. Transitioning into the field of communications has been an exciting challenge. I’m determined to continue finding great stories to tell and sharing them in the hopes of making a positive difference.
