About Jennifer Quiroz

I am a natural advocate: I see injustice and seek solutions that honor people and strengthen communities. With 20 years’ experience in a number of social service settings and 10+ years in leadership; most of my work has focused on women\'s health, safety and financial empowerment and working with the Latinx community. I have a proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional community partnerships with a variety of colleagues, organizations, and agencies; I thrive in a collaborative environment.I am highly organized with excellent attention to detail, strong time-management, and amazing ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.I am committed to racial and social justice. I foster a team environment with a spirit of continuous learning and a lens of social justice in our work and encourage staff to examine how privilege and oppression affect our clients, how systemic and structural racism and oppressions affect our work, how our own agency and program may participate in such systems, and what our role is in dismantling these systems.
