Federal Program Officer, Texas & Louisiana Office of Internet Connectivity and Growth
National Telecommunications And Information Administration Ntia
Aug 2022 — Present · Austin, TX, US
During this critical time for connectivity in our country, I\'m honored to serve as a federal program officer (FPO) supporting our nation’s largest-ever broadband program, overseeing over $3.3 billion in federal infrastructure funds for the State of Texas and over $1.3 billion for the State of Louisiana. In this role, I serve as the primary federal liaison for the Texas Broadband Development Office and ConnectLA, and have facilitated engagement with state, regional, county, and municipal associations to drive high-speed Internet expansion. I have lead strategic outreach and partnership efforts with Internet service providers, local governments, and community organizations to ensure broad stakeholder participation in Texas\' broadband planning and funding process. I have also played a key leadership role at the national level, supporting all U.S. states and territories in finalizing eligible high-speed Internet infrastructure funding locations and shaping BEAD program grant reporting and monitoring protocols.
