I thrive in creative atmospheres and have enjoyed working in real estate, hospitality, and particularly entertainment.Currently, I am the Senior Manager, People & Operations at Ingenuity Studios, a leading visual effects studio with locations in Los Angeles, New York, and Vancouver. In this role, I am the point of contact for all things Human Resources. While I mainly serve as a business partner to our people managers and leadership team, I also manage payroll, benefits, employment offers, and employee visa sponsorships. Additionally, I keep our HRIS up-to-date and oversee all employee onboarding and off-boarding. I also work with our Office Operations and Admin teams across locations to ensure we are creating a seamless and positive experience for our employees.I feel that a positive employee experience is the root of any company’s success. I appreciate the balance of analytics and creativity that goes into curating that experience. It is exciting to have a positive impact on my colleagues and ultimately, the company. This excitement (and my ample free time amid the pandemic) inspired me to pursue a PHR Certification, which I earned in June of 2021. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from California State University, Northridge’s Mike Curb College of Art, Media, and Communication in May 2016. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and I love movies, cooking, and boxing.
