About Jennifer Lawson
I have been a nurse for 13 years working in family medicine and geriatrics. I completed my BSN and continued on to obtain my MSN from James Madison University\'s FNP program in May 2025. I enjoy all areas of nursing but would have to say I really enjoy taking care of the geriatric patient population, and those who struggle with mental illness. One of my goals after completing my FNP degree is to continue my education and obtain my psychiatric nurse practitioner certification. I am eager to start my new career as an FNP, and I am looking forward to providing my patients the best care using evidence-based practice and shared decision making.
