ABOUT JENNIFER D. HERNÁNDEZ M.

Geological Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with international experience in Venezuela, Argentina, and the United States, participating in exploration, reservoir development, and operational optimization projects.I began my career working as a Geologist in Venezuela, where I was involved in subsurface characterization, structural and stratigraphic interpretation, and support for drilling operations in conventional and unconventional fields.Later, I worked in Argentina as a Reservoir Engineer, focusing on reservoir performance analysis, reserves estimation, well performance evaluation, and field development planning to maximize hydrocarbon recovery.Currently, I work as a Project Engineer at Nalco Water (Ecolab) in Midland, Texas, United States, in the Permian Basin. In this role, I collaborate with operations and facilities teams on projects aimed at optimizing chemical treatments, improving operational reliability, and increasing efficiency in compressor stations and gas processing facilities within the midstream sector.Throughout my career, I have worked with multidisciplinary teams, including geology, drilling, completions, reservoir engineering, operations, and facilities, contributing to the safe and efficient execution of projects.Additionally, I am expanding my expertise in Data Science and data analytics (Python, SQL, and applied analytics) with the goal of integrating digital tools and advanced analytics into energy operations.I am motivated by continuous learning, innovation, and contributing to the responsible development of energy resources.
