Partner with corporations, associations, government clients, non-profits and social groups that plan off-site meetings, conferences and events to match their specific needs with hotel and meeting venues. Contracted over 90 meetings a year ranging from 10 to 2500 attendees. Responsible for comprehensive venue sourcing and site search, RFP & response management, hotel evaluation & selection to secure room blocks and meeting and exhibit space for upcoming conventions, meetings and events. Consultative and facilitating contract review and contract negotiation to ensure the best rates and concessions, and most fair terms and conditions; as well as meeting client budgetary needs and cost assessments. Work closely with resort hotels and supplier partners. Attend networking events and staying active and abreast of industry trends.
