I\'m a strategic finance professional with 17+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, enterprise forecasting and capital strategy - primarily in complex, capital-intensive environments across the Canadian energy sector.My career has spanned both the accounting and planning sides of finance, which gives me an unusual ability to move between rigorous technical analysis and forward-looking strategic work. I\'ve led two full cycles of enterprise strategic planning, owned commodity price forecasting for a $10.2B asset portfolio, supported M&A transactions on both buy and sell sides and built executive compensation models from the ground up - including researching, designing and implementing a new PSU performance metric (ROIC/ROC) at Board request, which was subsequently adopted.At BURNCO Rock Products, I was promoted to Director within 18 months, where I focused on Board and executive reporting, financial governance and building a high-performing finance team through a period of structural change. One of the things I\'m proudest of: partnering with the VP Controller to redesign month-end processes and compress the year-end close from a prior-year Board presentation in late July down to 6 weeks - a real operational win.What drives me most is high-judgment, forward-looking financial work - turning complex data into clear decisions, building models that actually get used and being a trusted thought partner to executive and Board audiences.I hold a CPA, CA designation and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria. I\'ve been twice recruited back by former employers - a reflection of the trust and relationships built throughout my Calgary-rooted finance career.Currently exploring Director-level opportunities in FP & A, Strategic Finance or Corporate Finance in Calgary and beyond.
