   Ms. Downs has lived in Charlotte, NC for the past 12 years, where she has worked closely with investors from all over the world assisting them to acquire distressed properties throughout the southeast. Handling the entire process of identifying the properties with potential, assessing risk and providing projections for expected profits, fixing and flipping the properties, and/or placing tenants, she provided investors with residential or commercial investments to suit their budget and ROI requirements. She began her real estate career about 18 years ago using an SBA loan and home equity to acquire a business inside a commercial property listed by Steve Radekopf, and with his help and expertise in properly structuring the deal she was later able to purchase the real estate with 5 acres after increasing the revenue. Several years later Steve assisted her as her broker again to sell the property and business together for a substantial profit. Since then she has obtained extensive experience with buying and selling foreclosure properties, rehabbing and wholesaling hundreds of single and multi-family homes using both private or hard money, and in many cases with no money out of pocket at all. Her entire motivation to get involved with real estate came from reading the book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kyosaki. When she’s not involved in a real estate deal, she is running a health club she owns in North Charleston, SC or spending time with her teenage daughter. Jennifer is a Zillow Premier Agent, formerly with CJH Properties LLC and Better Real Estate Carolinas.
