Jenn Chen is a Chinese American scientist and writer based in Boston, MA. Born in New York then growing up in Wyoming, New Jersey, and partly Saudi Arabia has fueled her literary and non-fiction explorations in the intersection between nature, climate, and cultural identity.Graduating from Dartmouth with a B.A. in Biology and English and Creative Writing, Jenn, by day, dissects molecular answers to lipid-induced kidney disease and, by night, cultivates a career in journalism, and writes creative non-fiction, poetry, and fiction. In her free time, she organizes AAPI-artist and climate spaces while dabbling in watercolor painting, photography, and other crafts.
