About Jennifer Adams

I\'m a recovering alcoholic and addict with over 8 years of honest continued sobriety. Since allowing my higher power, which I call God- Jesus Christ, to guide me in all I do I\'ve most abundantly been blessed beyond messure. I\'ve worked hard to turn my life around and be a productive, respectable and respectful human being. I volunteer alongside numerous nonprofit organizations as well as my church community to do all I can to help others in whatever they may need. I have been working in the recovery field for two and a half years now and I\'ve accomplished things that I never thought could ever happen for me. I received my Chemical Dependency Counseling Assistant, CDCA and had the opportunity to facilitate groups, PHP, IOP and Step Down. I\'m now in the position that I\'ve been aiming for from the beginning, Outreach Coordinator! I love what I do and love being able to engage with the community. I love establishing relationships, partnership and fellowship with all of the recovery communities. I\'m in the final stages of receiving my Peer Recovery Supporter certification. My true passion is Re-entry. I inspire to bring hope and encouragement to those behind bars. I too have been incarcerated and carried a prison number on my record. But just this past year, by the grace of God and support of many people, family and friends, my entire criminal record has been expunged! I\'m so excited for what God and 2025 have in store for me this year! Keep moving forward! Keep pushing on! Keep your head up! Keep my eyes on God! Keep my focus on what\'s right in front of me!
