About Jennifer Zheng
I work on medical device systems where testing, data, and validation matter.I am a Biomedical Engineer currently pursuing a Master of Engineering at the University of California, Irvine, with hands-on experience across medical device R&D, validation testing, and computational analysis. My work spans algorithm development for medical imaging, experimental protocol design, verification testing, and structured documentation for regulated environments.Through industry-sponsored and academic projects, I have developed MRI-based image analysis algorithms, built analysis pipelines and visualization tools, and executed repeatable verification testing to assess system accuracy and robustness. I have also designed and tested soft robotic prototypes, taking systems from early design iterations through benchtop validation. Most recently, I am working on validation methods to evaluate thermal safety of skin-contacting medical devices using manikin-based testing platforms.I am particularly interested in roles where engineering rigor, data analysis, and validation intersect to improve patient safety and product reliability.
