Current Courses: Honors Financial Accounting, Personal Finance, Entrepreneurship and Video Productions Designed a task-based entrepreneurship class competition that fosters leadership, critical thinking, collaboration, time management, organization, and teamwork while students execute their business plan for a non-profit company they create and operate during the semester.*Student run non-profit companies have donated over to 37 charities.Created a video course where students direct and produce weekly episodes of our school news show, “What’s Up Madeira” on YouTube.Provide students a strong foundation in personal finance empowering them to make educated financial decisions.Instruct students in groups and individually, implementing the curriculum while developing independent thinking, critical thinking, and creative problem solving skills.Collaborate with professionals in the community and utilize their expertise as public speakers, judges, and advisors.
