About Jennifer Witherbee
Utilizing the power of community and collaboration to change lives has been the joy of my career. Working in both the non-profit and for profit sectors I\'ve discovered similarities in the way so many of us are driven to make a difference, both professionally and personally. For 20+ years I got to shape the direction and growth of the tree fruit industry\'s flagship charity, the Washington Apple Education Foundation. As we grew together, it was relationships developed with donors, volunteers and beneficiaries that provided direction and motivation to grow the organization from its infancy to a dynamic force that was annually supporting 350 students with over $1 million in scholarship aid paired with the professional development support for each student to help them transition their dreams for themselves and their families into a plan for success. Now in the for profit professional services industry, I am delighted to continue to be surrounded by individuals encompassing the spirit of service, a drive to make a difference, and a commitment to growth with purpose. Identification of why you serve, who you can make a difference to, and effectively articulating that message is how to find career fulfillment, growth and personal goal alignment. For me, at the heart of it all is relationships.
