About Jennifer Wilson Loggins
Professional counseling, counselor supervision/mentoring and teaching are my passions. I currently serve full-time as a licensed professional counselor the The Wings Center at Eagle Ranch providing outpatient therapy services for individuals, couples and families. I have a special interest in the following areas: trauma/post-traumatic growth and resilience, neurodiversity, pregnancy/postpartum, relational conflict, communication skills, sexuality, anxiety, and behavioral/process addiction recovery. I have served as an adjunct professor at Brenau University for the past 11 years. I currently teach clinical counseling supervision and abnormal psychology part-time. My students provide consistent feedback regarding my student-centered, high impact teaching methods, balancing rigor with compassion and holistically supporting personal and academic growth. Previously, I served as the Director of Accessibility Services at Brenau University expanding, streamlining and improving the tutoring program and academic accomodations services from 20••••22. I supervised a team of 13 employees during that time. From 20••••17 I served as the Children\'s Program Coordinator for Gateway Domestic Violence Center for 7 years, building a therapeutic program from the ground up by securing additional funding, implementing creative therapy activities, family counseling and increasing the number of interns and staff members providing support for the children and teens in our program. I supervised 10-15 employees/interns while also facilitating children\'s support groups, parenting groups, and family crisis intervention sessions. I also provided individual and family intake sessions, crisis hotline assistance and advocacy for women, children, and teens. As a former psychometrist, I have administered and scored cognitive and personality psychological assessments, prepared assessment reports and recommendations for Chattahoochee Child Psychology. I have also worked in early intervention services with Babies Can\'t Wait, providing in-home services for children ages birth-3 who have developmental delays. I have experience working as a preschool teacher, nanny and in the hospitality industry. My volunteer work centers around supporting parents who have children with special medical needs as a Supporting Parent for Parent to Parent of GA, facilitating support groups and supporting local charitable organizations.
