I am a creative, practical and highly organized manager, attorney, educator, and public speaker, with 15 years\' experience counseling and representing clients and 14 years\' experience teaching and supporting the development of admitted and aspiring attorneys.I possess unique insight and detailed knowledge of the business of running large global law firms, including practice management, attorney development, feedback, recruiting, promotion & retention, marketing & client development, wellness & well-being initiatives, and budgeting & finances. I am passionate about navigating professionals through critical moments in their career development, including professional goal-setting and development and execution of strategies for success, and about effective training and mentoring. I have created and presented training relating to wellness initiatives and the industry\'s commitment to the ABA Well-Being Pledge, and I am certified in Behavioral Health First Aid. I am a CTI-trained professional coach. I have also received my MBA Essentials Certificate from the London School of Economics and Political Science.I have been a long-serving adjunct professor at the Fordham University School of Law, teaching both substantive law and skills courses, and have also held the position of adjunct professor at Butler University, teaching undergraduate students in topics related to culture and diversity.As complex commercial litigation counsel, I helped clients solve problems, led teams, won cases, and handled all aspects of client representation, including advising clients about litigation prevention and negotiating on their behalf. My practice deliberately spanned many substantive areas and industries, and in addition to my litigation skills, I have compliance and investigations experience, including work in connection with a NY Department of Financial Services monitorship to evaluate a bank’s anti-money laundering program. I fully participate in, and give back to, my community in many roles. Among other things, I am committed to pro bono legal services; I raised funds on behalf of the New York Road Runners youth services as a marathon runner and Team for Kids member; and I have served in multiple leadership and volunteer roles for Butler University, including as Greater New York Alumni Chapter President, Secretary to the Alumni Association Board of Directors, and Atlantic-10 Conference Tournament Host Committee Member and Sub-Committee Chair.
