About Jennifer Tausig
My career has focused on the nonprofit sector at the intersection of economic, community and workforce development. I am passionate about ideating and connecting with values aligned entrepreneurial thinkers, breaking down silos, piloting solutions for big problems, creating strategic partnerships and advocating for the marginalized. I have worked at start up organizations, long established organizations who are building new programming and revived legacy organizations to adjust to current challenges and opportunities. The Global Exchange fellowship seeks to build solidarity between leaders in New York and other cities taking “big swings” at their housing crises. By exploring the cultures and politics behind housing shifts around the world, we will equip decision-makers to better advocate for reform. Our goal is to complement the diligent work of local leaders, weave together diverse perspectives, and support a new generation of leaders to house every New Yorker.
