ABOUT JENNIFER SUBER
In the past 14 years as an independent consultant, it has been my pleasure to successfully plan and implement special events for numerous non-profit organizations. In addition to events, I have managed marketing / advertising projects for both non-profit and for-profit companies. My previous experience as Director of Development and then Director of Marketing for EdVenture Children’s Museum gave me great insight into fundraising and marketing endeavors of one of Columbia\'s largest nonprofits (with a budget of approximately $1.2 million per year in fundraising and an overall marketing and public relations budget of approximately per year). Previous to the museum, I was Vice President of Communications and Product Development for the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce which included responsibilities for special events, sales management, members-only (affinity) programs and the design and implementation of the Chamber’s first branding initiative. All of these wonderful experiences allowed me to grow my passion for corporate event planning and understand the intricacies of working with volunteers, budgets and marketing that, combined together, have helped me help others to create countless successful events.
