Promoting life long learning as professional educators.With over 25 years of experience in education, I am deeply committed and passionate about the work of community colleges and the impact they can have on the lives of students. Unfortunately, our education system fails many individuals, but community colleges provide a second chance for success in higher education. Through the community college system, we can educate and elevate thousands of people to achieve their lifelong dreams.In my role, I have the privilege of working with talented faculty who strive to help students learn how to learn and be successful in higher education. I encourage faculty members to step outside of their discipline knowledge and explore various meaningful ways to share their passion with their students. The mission of community colleges is at the forefront of social justice and reform, and our work has the power to transform lives.
