Innovator, Problem Solver and Risk Management Professional who has pivoted within multiple industries; such as, insurance, financial services, banking, defense, and civil engineering. Formerly, Project Director at the Business Resource Center (BRC) at Guardian. Involved in a variety of positions to leverage my skills in strategic planning, initiative build-outs, and organizational effectiveness. Prior to planning and launching the BRC, my focus included working on installing and expanding a unique marketing program (AMF) and Team Based Selling throughout Guardian’s General Agency system. Oversaw and managed alliance marketing (Bank Marketing and CPA Marketing), participated on the Women’s Channel, and performed strategic planning and project management activities for Agency Distribution. Prior to joining Guardian, worked for AIG where I created a centralized unit dedicated to worksite marketing and voluntary benefits. Before being recruited to AIG, worked for Capital Holding and served in a variety of positions including Account Executive, Marketing Strategist and Marketing Intelligence. Oversaw and ran B2C marketing campaigns offering supplemental insurance products to the clients of major financial institutions, petroleum companies and members of CUNA Mutual Group. Elected to work on a start-up team on determining the feasibility of entering the military marketplace. The team created a strategic alliance with the NCOA and worked with key stakeholders in Washington and the Department of Defense in order to provide civilian health benefits for military personnel/retirees, and their families. Co-founded & sold 3 businesses consisting of a landscaping company, video store, and elements of a product innovations firm.
