SmartFoam developed, markets and manufactures smart sensors through a novel process of embedding microscopic, piezoelectric smart particles in otherwise \"dumb\" foam. Once embedded, these smart particles convert dumb foam into smart foam, enabling a whole new class of miniature, passive, IoT, amibent sensors that measure presence, activity and by proxy, fitness. SmartFoam has been initially applied to solutions in footwear and fitness/yoga mats. Expansion to automotive, furniture and bedding applications are in development.
