About Jennifer Simmons
Jennifer is a Program Assistant with the Washington State Department of Health in the Eastern Region Office of Drinking Water. She has also worked in the Covid response office of Public Health, Outbreak Coordination, Informatics, & Surveillance. Before coming to DOH, she worked as an Epidemiological Investigator for the Public Health Institute and Spokane Regional Health District. Previously, she served 19 years with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians in the roles as Public Relations Coordinator and Team Member Event Coordinator. Jennifer is committed to her community and has served on the Boards of the Chase Youth Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Spokane Falls Community College, and the American Red Cross. Jennifer has a bachelor’s degree in \'Communications & Public Relations\' from Eastern Washington University and a master’s degree from Gonzaga University in \'Organizational Leadership\'.In her spare time, she enjoys acting on stage and screen, golfing, and camping in her RV.
