ABOUT JENNIFER SHROYER
Pharmacy first piqued my interest in the fifth grade, when a close family member received a diagnosis for a chronic condition. I inevitably noticed as he started consuming a multitude of pills, which enabled him to maintain a relatively normal lifestyle, despite the associated side effects. For that, I remain grateful and have since endeavored to learn in-depth about medicine and its applications, graduating with my Pharm.D. from Purdue University in 2022. With nearly a decade of pharmacy experience, I currently serve as Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, interacting with patients from all different demographics. Prior to this, I held positions at CVS Health and Young at Heart Pharmacy, a mail-order pharmacy specializing in long-term care. At college, I immersed myself in extracurricular activities, most notably serving as a three-time Resident Assistant (RA), pharmacy student body president, and graduate teaching assistant (TA). This, combined with my active involvement in the Purdue Honors College, enabled me to develop a diverse range of skills, for a truly interdisciplinary approach. I embrace responsibility, take initiative, and produce tangible results, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding expectations. A lifelong learner, I continually strive to improve by the day—and with that, I recently graduated with my MBA. My Top 5 CliftonStrengths: Restorative, Learner, Achiever, Focus, Futuristic.
