ABOUT JENNIFER SHOEMAKER
Master’s student at King’s College London, pursuing my degree in Intelligence and International Security within the Department of War Studies.Born in Russia, I’ve had the opportunity to live and study in the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, the United States, and Malaysia while growing up, before moving to France in 2020. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in International and Comparative Politics from The American University of Paris, an experience that strengthened my global perspective and my interest in international security.My academic and personal journeys have enriched my cross-cultural awareness and a passion for addressing complex global challenges. I am interested in the intersections of intelligence, crime prevention, and human rights. Looking ahead, my career aspirations focus on advancing strategies for criminal intelligence and surveillance, particularly combating extremist and human trafficking networks in online spheres. In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I devote time to a range of personal interests, which encompass literature, cinema, arts, and travel.
