ABOUT JENNIFER SHIN
I recently graduated with a B.S. in Human Biology with a strong interest in medicine, community health, and patient-centered care.My experiences span clinical care, emergency medicine, and community health work. I have worked as an EMT, provided health screenings and care coordination as a Community Health Worker, and volunteered in both hospital and community settings. These roles have allowed me to work closely with diverse patient populations, respond in high-pressure situations, and better understand the social factors that impact health. Alongside my clinical experiences, I have also contributed to research in physiology and iron metabolism and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams of physicians and scientists. I’m passionate about teamwork, service, and building meaningful connections with the people around me. I’m excited to continue growing as a future physician and to learn from the patients, mentors, and communities I have the privilege to work with.
