About Jennifer Shaunty

For nearly 25 years, I’ve helped clients understand complex state and local direct and indirect tax, with a particular focus on the US southwest region. As a Partner in EY’s Indirect/SALT National Practice, I specialize in state and local tax, including income/franchise, sales and use, credits and incentives, and excise tax, primarily in the energy, oil and gas sector. Additionally, as a member of EY’s Americas Tax Innovation Council, I am part of a team that works to drive innovation throughout the EY Americas Tax culture and help facilitate the execution of innovative ideas both internally and externally. When not in the office or assisting clients, I can often be found with my family seeing a theater performance or cheering on my beloved Texas Longhorns.
