ABOUT JENNIFER SCULLION

Jennifer Scullion is a litigation partner at Seeger Weiss, resident in New York City. Throughout her career, Jennifer has led complex litigations, arbitrations, and appeals for U.S. and multinational clients in a wide array of areas, including antitrust, consumer fraud, communications, and international bondholder disputes. She also has deep experience in class actions on both the plaintiff and defense side, as well as in federal regulatory proceedings. Jennifer’s representations have included:Federal jury trial for an international sports league resulting in a defense verdict on all federal antitrust and state-law claimsArbitration for a U.S. cable operator resulting in a complete victory before the arbitrator and on FCC review to determine fair market value of a carriage agreement with a networkFederal class litigation for sovereign bondholders resulting in certification of classes representing more than $700 million in holdingsArbitration for a professional sports team in an internal league arbitration concerning the payment of fees for telecast rightsRepresentation and advice to multiple U.S. programmers and distributors in connection with federal litigation, arbitrations, mediation and FCC proceedingsBriefing and argument in the Second Circuit for a group of investors resulting in the reversal of a dismissal and a holding that a U.S. forum-selection clause may be enforced against successors to a non-U.S. companyBriefing and argument in the Sixth Circuit for the League of Women Voters of Ohio, resulting in an order upholding the right to pursue constitutional challenges to election administration deficiencies. The order led to a comprehensive settlement and monitoring on remand.
